I woke up today with a new spirit! At first I was puzzled, I couldn't quite put my finger on what I was feeling. So I got up, went downstairs and was literally pulled outside by some unseen force. Next thing I knew I was standing in the grass barefoot and staring up at the sky. A small whisper said, "It is time."
I began to feel a deep sense of connection with the Earth, Nature and the Universe. It felt as if my feet were melting into the soil. After meditating for another 10 min. I walked back inside and went straight to the calendar. The Equinox is in 2 days! WOW!! I am feeling it!!
So, I went about my day thinking of all the things I wanted to start doing. I will start back to meditating before starting my day, I will get back to blogging, I will finish my tarot deck and my crystal divination set, etc,,,, etc,,,,, etc,,,,,,
About an hour later my Jhinn (husband) and I walked out the front door to see a HUGE spider sitting on the blinds next to the front door. I had so many mixed emotions at first, but one feeling that stood out the most was the time of year. Halloween is coming! I always put my spider at the front door. I guess this one wanted to make his appearance. I went back in the house and one of my sons started talking to me. That is when I noticed he had on a sweatshirt with a spider printed on the front. Then, as if the first two were not enough, we later found another spider on the wall in one of the children's rooms. Ok, I see someone or something is trying to tell me something. So, I had to look it up!
If Spider is your Animal Totem:
This insect totem teaches you balance between the past and future, physical and spirit, male and female. She is strength and gentleness combined. She awakens creative sensibilities and reminds you that the past is always interwoven with the future. Tarantulas (and all spiders) are the keepers of the primordial alphabet and can teach you how to write creatively. Her body is shaped like the number 8 and she has 8 legs, which is symbol of infinite possibilities of creation. Her 8 legs represent the 4 winds of change and the four directions of the medicine wheel. Spider’s message is that you are an infinite being who will continue to weave patterns of life and living throughout time. Do not fail to see the eternal plan of creation. Those who weave magic with the written word usually have this totem.All this made me realize how many times I have felt this energy, and it always seems to start right around the Autumnal Equinox. I pulled out my journal and started to see a major pattern. Autumn is my activation season! I am a summer baby and for the longest I really wasn't very fond of Autumn or Winter, but I guess I am singing a different tune now. Who knows maybe it could have something to do with the fact that I was conceived in October. I don't know, but I would love to hear from others. Do you notice that you have a special time of the year where you feel more spiritually active? Do you feel anything during the month you were conceived? Think about it. Check your journals. Is it possible that we have two power months or seasons each year? One during the month or season we are born in and one during the month or season we were conceived in? Maybe there is energy available to us during these times that we are not aware of and by not being aware of this energy we are unable to use it to its fullest.
Like the voice said, "It is time", I am ready. And believe it or not, right when I made the decision to get busy my children surprised me with a new laptop. All this in one day! Believe me, I am saying YES to the Universe and Thank you. ~Peace~
