MOONTIME IS WOMBTIME

"Moontime", what is that?" It is our menstrual, our menses, our period, our time of the month. The time that most women dread. Why? Most women would say it's because it's nasty, or it makes them feel dirty and that cramps are horrible. But why do we hate a natural part of our existence that makes us who and what we are............... Feminine?

"Why do we have to go through this?" - I've heard that question soooo many times. My response is why does the sun rise, why does the day turn to night, why do the seasons change? It is all a part of nature. Our cycles are a part of life, and not just a part of life, it is actually a REAL part of life. It is such a major part, that all human life would eventually cease to exist if every woman stopped menstruating.

"So why do most women absolutely despise  it?" - It's because they don't understand, heck, I'm just learning to comprehend. This has been a long slow walk for me. In the past I thought my menstrual was the worst thing in the world. Cramps, Bleeding, Headaches, oh my!!! I suffered. Now I look forward to that time.

Once a woman comprehends the power of her menses, she can then learn how to use it. - Our "Moontime" can be used to determine the health of our wombs, to gain introspection into our own personalities, to harmonize with our Heavenly Mother (The Moon), and Mother Earth. We can also use it to heal, make wishes, transform and much more. Later I will discuss all of this and much more, but for now I will explain how lifestyle determines whether you will have a happy "Moontime" or not. Here are a few ways to relieve yourself from the curses we've placed on our precious gift.

 1. The Pain - We DO NOT have to experience pain. It has been 17 yrs since I have had cramps. NO LIE!!   How did I accomplish that?
First, - I've only been with one man (my husband) for the past 26 yrs.
When a woman has more than one sexual partner her womb is always in a turbulent
state. It takes almost six months for our wombs to adapt to the DNA of our mate. So
if there is more than one her womb is probably going schitzo, and believe me she
                is going to feel it.
     Next - I Breastfeed!!!!
After a woman has a baby if she REALLY breastfeeds she should not have a
menstrual at all. Breastfeeding is a natural Birth Controll!!!
Last, but not least - I take wild yam capsules when I am not breastfeeding.
Wild yam is the main ingredient in birth control pills. If you take one a day
(when you're not bleeding), just like the pill, you will have light periods,
                     no cramping and no odor.

2. The Smell - Foul odors are usually the result of three things. One - bacteria,
Two - menstrual products and Three - foreign objects.
An unclean womb is breeding grounds for bacteria, fungus and viruses. Ladies, we've have got to keep our wombs clean (and not with summer's eve). I'm talking about clean spiritually and physically. Everything we put on or in our "garden" should be natural, organic, loving and friendly. :) Really, we should not be using anything bleached,  containing formaldehyde, made of plastic, rubber, latex, or ingredients made in a lab.
Instead of using Always or Kotex, buy or make your own pads from all natural cotton.

3. Mood swings - These are caused mainly by negative thought patterns and eating habits.
We know what happens when children eat too much sugar or red dye #40.
So what does it do to us? What about caffeine, too much meat, dairy
products, wheat, etc. Watch what you eat and you will see your life change.

If you become more conscious of your body, your life, your "Moontime" you will begin to see the world in a different light. Life is grand and our "Moontime" can be also, when you know what to do. I have been blessed with the knowledge and I am more than happy to share. I have herbas to help relieve menstrual cramps, and I have created "Moontime Wish Kits". You can find them both on my Etsy shop.

GENIE MOON RITUAL #1 NEW MOON

Genie rituals...    To all my beautiful SiStars, it is Most important that we not only revere our Earthly Mother and connect to her through following the Wholly days, we must also become in tuned with our Heavenly Mother (THE MOON). It is she who balances our hormones, regulates our cycles, stimulates our intuition, psychic abilities, and much more. By living our lives and performing rituals that harmonize with each of Her phases, our connection to the Divine Feminine becomes even stronger. Below I have given examples of what We do at Our rituals. Remember these are just examples, it is best that you create your own and be consistent. As you perform these rituals you will see how quickly your life transforms (mentally, physically, spiritually, even your relationships, finances and much more). During the “Rituals” we: 1. Open with “Reverence” (To our Heavenly Mother, Mother Earth, Our Father, Our Ancestors, Ourselves and the Universe) 2. Play the instrument for that Phase 3. Exercise or Meditate 4. Have a discussion 5. Begin the Activity for that Phase 6. Eat 7. Close I hope these examples will help you to establish and maintain your own connection with the many different phases of our Mother and the ever changing phases within ourselves. Peace and Prosperity ***Note*** Many of the Pics that were taken during actual ceremonies are under the powerful influence of the frequencies at that time. Though some pics may appear blurry, we decided to leave Pics as they are, in order to capsulate the Power of that Ceremony.
“NEW MOON”
Mantra
“A certain amount of dedication must be achieved in order to master our greater goals.”

Time of Conception:
The New Moon is the time of conception, the time when we create new projects, and ideas. This is the day to contemplate not act. Think about what new projects you would like to start, or what new things you would like to learn. This is the time to make wishes, set your intentions, select which new characteristics you want to assimilate, etc. Continue this until the first night the Moon produces light (usually one to two nights later), only then should you begin to physically work towards your goals.

Things to do during this Phase:
From New Moon to Full Moon is the time of growth, increase and expansion. For all the things in your life that you would like to experience growth or expansion, this is the time to concentrate and send the energy. From your hair to your bank account, things will move quickly if you remain focused at this time. During this time, our brains grow larger and our bodies absorb nutrients better. This is also a great time to do healing and psychic work, make and visualize goals or wishes, gain new employment or employers, start your own business, move, buy a house, invest money, sign contracts, make physical changes to self, such as change hair style, get a nice feminine tattoo or begin to learn a new skill or foreign language.

Things not to do during this Phase:
From New Moon to 1st Half (2nd Quarter) stress levels are high and illnesses worsen so try not to overwork yourself. This is not a good time to do any long distance traveling or painting, as paints will take longer to dry. These activities can be done, but for best results you should wait until the "Waning Phase" so that things will go smoother.

Preparation:
(The night before or the day of the New Moon) 1. Think of a characteristic and a goal that you would like to achieve over the next month. 2. Take a meditation bath (w/candles, incense, etc.). Meditate on your new character and goal. Become very receptive while in the tub. 3. Write down your goals and any thoughts, ideas, new concepts or dreams that come during or after the bath. (It is best to write this in a journal.) 4. Begin wearing black or brown. We do this for 3 days. We even wear black nail polish and lipstick. 5. Recite the Mantra as often as possible. 6. Keep a journal of your daily progress, dreams and experiences so that you can comprehend what works for you and what does not.

The Ritual:
This can be done alone, but is more influential towards change when performed in the loving energy of other females.
The Altar for this Ritual is for “Conception” and contains:
Totem- Eggs, nuts or seeds (They represent conception, or seeds being planted.) Candles- Black or Brown (For the darkness inside the Womb or the Earth.) Crystals or Stones- Labradorite (They assist with change and ability to see all possible opportunities.) Rutilated Quartz (To activate one’s ability to utilize their own gifts and talents to grow and evolve.) Tarot Card- The Fool (The Fool represents the very beginning, “the seed”. It is usually numbered 0, the number of unlimited potential.) Foods- Roots, seeds, nuts, or eggs (To physically absorb the energy of new beginnings “Conception”.) Incense- Benzoin (Stimulates new beginnings and creativity.) Instrument- Drum (Represents the heartbeat of the Mother heard from inside the womb and Mother Earth.) If possible keep your altar set with these items for the duration of the phase.

Activities:
1. We come together to discuss our chosen new characteristics, goals, wishes and dreams. 2. We give and receive feedback to help each other. 3. Everyone brings their notebook or journal so they can begin documenting their progress. 4. We also bring a personal item which we will wear or carry for the next two weeks as a TOTEM (reminder) of these new characteristics or goals. We place our personal items on the alter during the ritual to imbue them with this Energy.

The New Moon is also the time to make wishes. We write down 1-3 wishes on two separate pieces of parchment paper. One copy we put in the pocket of our dream pillows to sleep on for three nights, after that we bury it and sometimes place a plant on top. The other copy we attach to our Full Moon staffs. On the Winter Solstice we will read all of the New Moon wishes that we have written over the year to see what wishes have come true and evaluate our progress. Then we burn them and start the New Year fresh. **Note** When making a wish be very specific. Also limit yourself to no more than three. Making too many wishes will only divide your energy and deny each wish the proper amount of focused consistency (nourishment) it needs to grow.

GENIE MOON RITUAL #2 FIRST HALF (2ND QUARTER)

Genie Rituals
PLEASE READ GENIE MOON RITUAL #1 BEFORE READING THIS

“First Half”
Mantra:
“As Her light increases with each passing night, My path is filled with much delight.”
Time of Gestation and Evaluation:
As the new ideas and characters you set at the New Moon begin to take root and sprout, it is very important to continue to cultivate and focus. If you need to make any changes this is the best time to improve or modify your plans.
Things to do during this Phase:
This is a great time to make permanent purchases such as a house or business, get married, invest money, have gatherings, give speeches or lectures, improve or modify goals, do healing or psychic work, travel or go on vacation, have dental work done, make changes to physical appearances such as dye hair or do chemical alterations, cut hair for faster growth, and start a new job or course of study.

More female babies are born during this time.
Things not to do during this Phase:
This is not a good time for surgeries as there is a greater risk of complications, permanent scaring and healing will take longer. It is also not wise to do anything that requires risk taking.
Preparation:
1. This is when we begin wearing silver or light blue (clothing, fingernail polish, etc.)
2. Memorize the Mantra
The Ritual:
Can be done alone, but is better performed in the loving energy of other females.
The Alter for this Ritual contains:
Animal Totem: Dolphins (The youthful, playful, intelligent creatures of the sea. They come to
teach us how to harmonize with the rhythms of the Primordial waters and how to have our prayers answered.)

Candles: Silver (Abundance, both spiritual and physical, releases negative energy)
and Light Blues (Emotion Balance, Inner Peace, Intuition and Truth)

Food: Fish, Sprouts, Salads (The food of dolphins and the spouts of new life)

Incense: Copal (Offers Clear Insight and Inspires Divine Thoughts and Actions)

Instruments: Bells, Finger cymbals, Gong, or Singing bowl (Sound of Conscious Awakening)

Activities During Ritual:
1. Reread your goals and evaluate your growth. Ask yourself have you been consistent. If this "Ritual" is done in a group setting it is best to pair off with another sister so each can give and receive feedback. Another perspective is always helpful to reveal any difficulties or obstacles that we may have overlooked.
2. This is also a great time for deep meditation, self reflection, a right livelihood reading or consulting a mature loving individual who can give you honest helpful advice.
3. If there are any adjustments that need to be made in your plans, now is the time to make them.
4. After you have had time to evaluate your progress and absorb any advice, it is time to continue forward with more confidence, focus and strength.
5. Continue journaling. This leads to self mastery.
Peace and Prosperity be unto you and yours!!!!

GENIE MOON RITUAL #3 FULL MOON

Please remember: These are the Rituals that We do for each of the Phases. They are posted as an example to give you an idea of the energy that is available to us all during this phase.

“Full Moon”
Chant
“As We Bask In the Fullness of Her Loving Glory, We Begin A New Chapter In Our Own Life Story.”

Time of: Birth, Harvest, and Reaping:
If you have been diligent about your character changes and accomplishing your goals, you will now begin to see the fruits of your labor.

Things to do during this Phase:
This is a great time to end projects, reach agreements, get answers and ask for favors. Starting the day after the Full Moon is the best time to prepare herbal remedies, for they are most potent now. It is also the time to break bad habits, accept proposals, eat with less weight gain, go crabbing or gathering shell fish because they will be meatier. Also any form of hair removal will last longer at this time.

Things not to do during this Phase:
The Full Moon is a time of heightened aggression and stress so take care. This is also not a good time for any types of surgeries as healing takes longer, it is also not a good time to cut your hair unless you desire the hair to grow slower (maybe body hair).

Preparation: (The day of or the day before the Full Moon)
  1. Find a place outside where you can sit for at least 15 min. in silence to listen to the sounds of nature. Be fully attentive to everything around you. If you see or hear any animals, birds or insects be sure to note what they are doing then check out their meanings (Animal Speaks by Ted Andrews and the internet have a great deal of information about this). Whatever creatures appear are blessing you with a message that will bring enlightenment.
  2. Memorize the “Chant” and repeat it several times a day.

The Ritual:
Can be done alone, but is better performed in the loving energy of other females.

The Altar for this Ritual contains:
Animal Totem: Wolves (They Howl or Give Reverence To The Full Moon and Represent Family Structure, Rituals, And Order. They Also Teach Us How To Properly Express Our True Power Without Using Brute Force And They Show Us How To Utilize Everything We’ve Been Blessed With.)

Candles: Gold (Prosperity, Maturity, Wealth, Abundance, Wisdom)

or White (Pure Honest Reflection, Creativity, Ultimate Potential)

Crystals or Stones: Pearls or Moonstones (Represent The Moon, Control Over The Emotions and Abundance)
And All Types of Sea Shells (The Primordial Waters of Earth, Birthing Fluid)

Food: Cakes, Cookies, Wine (All represent a time of Joy and Reward)

Incense: Frankincense (Spiritual Truth, Cleansing, Purity)

Instrument: Harp or Flute (Both are instruments representing Festivities,
Joy and Entertainment)

Activities for this Ritual:
During this Ritual we go outside to see the Full Moon and absorb Her radiant beauty. We walk barefoot on the grass to connect with the Mycelium. We also play music, dance (belly dance) and give gifts. This is truly a time of joy and reward.

Peace and Prosperity be to you all.

GENIE MOON RITUAL #4 SECOND HALF (4TH QUARTER)

Please remember: These are the Rituals that We do for each of the Phases. They are posted as an example to give you an idea of the energy that is available to all of us during this phase.
“Second Half”
Chant
“Relax, Reflect, Release”
Time of:
Relaxation, Reflection and Release

Things to do during this time:
This is the time to rest, reflect, reorganize, recoup, and release. This is also a time to cut hair, nails and lawn if you prefer slower growth. You will have great results with dieting, training pets, and any form of deep, thorough cleaning. It is important to air out your mattress during this phase and get rid of unwanted, outdated, items, characteristics, habits, relationships, etc. during this phase.

Things not to do during this phase:
This is not the time for initiating events, making any major decisions, negotiating or buying electronic gadgets or tools. It is also not wise to do any unnecessary driving as this is the peak time for traffic accidents because people are more physically and mentally exhausted.

Preparation:
1. Set aside time for self-reflection. Look deep within, recognize the things about yourself that you would like to change or completely get rid of and write them down. As you write, visualize those characteristics, habits or thoughts flow out from you and go into the ink that is now on the paper.
2. Fold the paper and bring it to the “Ritual”.

The Ritual:
Can always be done alone, but is better performed in the loving energy of other females.

The Altar for this Ritual contains:
Animal Totem: The Humpback Whale
This ancient animal teaches the magic and the power of "Breath". Through breath we are able to alchemically transform the element of "Air" into food for the spirit and a voice for the soul. With our voice we share our genetic truths with the world.

Candles:
Purple (The color of spiritual atonement, peace and wisdom.)

or Dark Grey (Helps you to emotionally detach yourself from the old characteristics and ties of the past. By detaching
oneself it is easier to move forward.)

Crystals or Stones:
Obsidian is lava which cooled so fast it turned into
glass instead of crystal. When used properly Obsidian
causes repressed, unsettled emotions and memories to rise
so that one can heal and move forward.

Food or Drink:
Herbal Tea
Teas have always been used to calm the mind and heal the soul.

Incense:
Myrrh repels negative energy and much like Obsidian, has the ability to bring up deep, hidden, or unconscious feelings.

Instrument:
Guitar (The Oud)
The guitar is one of the instruments used for centuries to tell
stories. These stories are the voices of our ancestors
preserving the lessons of the past and sharing them with
their descendants for many, many generations to come.

Activities for this Ritual:
1. Wear your most comfortable Pjs or sweats and slip on your fluffy socks because tonight it's all about truly relaxing and reflecting in order to release the old to make way for the new in the upcoming cycle. Bring your favorite tea cup and herbal tea so you can truly enjoy this soothing moment.

2. Take out the paper on which you wrote the things that you would like to release. Read them once more. Next go outside and burn the paper to release these energies. If the weather does not permit you to go out, you may use the fireplace or an open window. Whichever you choose, be sure that the fire, smoke, and ashes are all released outside of your environment so that none of the energy will linger in your life. Also be sure to burn the paper entirely and if you can, bury the ashes

3. With that energy out of the way you are now free to mentally and physically regenerate and prepare for the New Moon which brings another opportunity for change and growth. This time you will be stronger, wiser and more successful having gone through this cleansing process.
