GENIE MOON RITUAL #1 NEW MOON

Genie rituals...    To all my beautiful SiStars, it is Most important that we not only revere our Earthly Mother and connect to her through following the Wholly days, we must also become in tuned with our Heavenly Mother (THE MOON). It is she who balances our hormones, regulates our cycles, stimulates our intuition, psychic abilities, and much more. By living our lives and performing rituals that harmonize with each of Her phases, our connection to the Divine Feminine becomes even stronger. Below I have given examples of what We do at Our rituals. Remember these are just examples, it is best that you create your own and be consistent. As you perform these rituals you will see how quickly your life transforms (mentally, physically, spiritually, even your relationships, finances and much more). During the “Rituals” we: 1. Open with “Reverence” (To our Heavenly Mother, Mother Earth, Our Father, Our Ancestors, Ourselves and the Universe) 2. Play the instrument for that Phase 3. Exercise or Meditate 4. Have a discussion 5. Begin the Activity for that Phase 6. Eat 7. Close I hope these examples will help you to establish and maintain your own connection with the many different phases of our Mother and the ever changing phases within ourselves. Peace and Prosperity ***Note*** Many of the Pics that were taken during actual ceremonies are under the powerful influence of the frequencies at that time. Though some pics may appear blurry, we decided to leave Pics as they are, in order to capsulate the Power of that Ceremony.
“NEW MOON”
Mantra
“A certain amount of dedication must be achieved in order to master our greater goals.”

Time of Conception:
The New Moon is the time of conception, the time when we create new projects, and ideas. This is the day to contemplate not act. Think about what new projects you would like to start, or what new things you would like to learn. This is the time to make wishes, set your intentions, select which new characteristics you want to assimilate, etc. Continue this until the first night the Moon produces light (usually one to two nights later), only then should you begin to physically work towards your goals.

Things to do during this Phase:
From New Moon to Full Moon is the time of growth, increase and expansion. For all the things in your life that you would like to experience growth or expansion, this is the time to concentrate and send the energy. From your hair to your bank account, things will move quickly if you remain focused at this time. During this time, our brains grow larger and our bodies absorb nutrients better. This is also a great time to do healing and psychic work, make and visualize goals or wishes, gain new employment or employers, start your own business, move, buy a house, invest money, sign contracts, make physical changes to self, such as change hair style, get a nice feminine tattoo or begin to learn a new skill or foreign language.

Things not to do during this Phase:
From New Moon to 1st Half (2nd Quarter) stress levels are high and illnesses worsen so try not to overwork yourself. This is not a good time to do any long distance traveling or painting, as paints will take longer to dry. These activities can be done, but for best results you should wait until the "Waning Phase" so that things will go smoother.

Preparation:
(The night before or the day of the New Moon) 1. Think of a characteristic and a goal that you would like to achieve over the next month. 2. Take a meditation bath (w/candles, incense, etc.). Meditate on your new character and goal. Become very receptive while in the tub. 3. Write down your goals and any thoughts, ideas, new concepts or dreams that come during or after the bath. (It is best to write this in a journal.) 4. Begin wearing black or brown. We do this for 3 days. We even wear black nail polish and lipstick. 5. Recite the Mantra as often as possible. 6. Keep a journal of your daily progress, dreams and experiences so that you can comprehend what works for you and what does not.

The Ritual:
This can be done alone, but is more influential towards change when performed in the loving energy of other females.
The Altar for this Ritual is for “Conception” and contains:
Totem- Eggs, nuts or seeds (They represent conception, or seeds being planted.) Candles- Black or Brown (For the darkness inside the Womb or the Earth.) Crystals or Stones- Labradorite (They assist with change and ability to see all possible opportunities.) Rutilated Quartz (To activate one’s ability to utilize their own gifts and talents to grow and evolve.) Tarot Card- The Fool (The Fool represents the very beginning, “the seed”. It is usually numbered 0, the number of unlimited potential.) Foods- Roots, seeds, nuts, or eggs (To physically absorb the energy of new beginnings “Conception”.) Incense- Benzoin (Stimulates new beginnings and creativity.) Instrument- Drum (Represents the heartbeat of the Mother heard from inside the womb and Mother Earth.) If possible keep your altar set with these items for the duration of the phase.

Activities:
1. We come together to discuss our chosen new characteristics, goals, wishes and dreams. 2. We give and receive feedback to help each other. 3. Everyone brings their notebook or journal so they can begin documenting their progress. 4. We also bring a personal item which we will wear or carry for the next two weeks as a TOTEM (reminder) of these new characteristics or goals. We place our personal items on the alter during the ritual to imbue them with this Energy.

The New Moon is also the time to make wishes. We write down 1-3 wishes on two separate pieces of parchment paper. One copy we put in the pocket of our dream pillows to sleep on for three nights, after that we bury it and sometimes place a plant on top. The other copy we attach to our Full Moon staffs. On the Winter Solstice we will read all of the New Moon wishes that we have written over the year to see what wishes have come true and evaluate our progress. Then we burn them and start the New Year fresh. **Note** When making a wish be very specific. Also limit yourself to no more than three. Making too many wishes will only divide your energy and deny each wish the proper amount of focused consistency (nourishment) it needs to grow.
