MERCURY IN RETROGRADE HAS NOW BECOME MY BEST FRIEND

"MERCURY IS NOW IN RETROGRADE"!!!!!!!!


  This statement alone causes many people to shutter with fear. Mercury in retrograde has been the cause of more confusion than most of us will ever realize. Anything having to do with communication or travel will usually become confused and chaotic while Mercury is in this state. From computers crashing repeatedly, to flights being delayed, rerouted or even cancelled, and during this time even the simplest conversations can end in heated arguments. Also, during WWI it is reported that a US soldier sent a letter to his mother while Mercury was in Retrograde, the letter did not arrive at its destination until 45 years later!!! These are but a small example of what can be expected during Mercury Retrograde. And to top it all off this happens three times every year and last for three weeks each time. What exactly does this mean?


  Have you ever noticed that when riding in a car, if another vehicle comes from behind traveling just a little faster, right before it passes there will be a moment when it seems that the other car is going in reverse. This is what Retrograde is about. As planets pass each other in their orbit there are points when it looks as though the passing planet goes into reverse. At this time the energy from the passing planet also seems to go in reverse or slow down almost to a stand still. That is why when Mercury (which rules communication and travel) goes retrograde, communication and travel plans go haywire here on Earth.................................... So what can we do?


   Before I knew the power of Mercury, I went through its retrogrades unknowingly missing appointments, losing money, keys and friends from miscommunication and confusion. Now that I have learned to harmonize with this energy, I find that I've been receiving Prosperity from unexpected sources, my WILL POWER has increased strength and I am able to re-evaluate and redirect my energies to bring more progressive energy in return.


  KNOWLEDGE is key to tempering Mercury's energy in retrograde. Much like the Geminis and Virgos who are ruled by this planet, Mercury demands to be acknowledged. In this case "Ignorance is not Bliss", at all!!!!! This is why it is best to get to know Mercury and the energies it bestows.

  Mercury rules "The Word". "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Through our words we communicate, but more importantly we use them to invoke our WILL and then we CREATE. By invoking our "WILL" we are able to turn ordinary events into magical experiences, thus you become the Magician or the God over the situation.

 
THINGS TO DO DURING MERCURY RETROGRADE:

EDIT, EDIT, EDIT!!! EDIT YOUR LIFE!
   This is the time to go over the old plans, make sure that nothing that was overlooked. This is the time to fix things in your life, around your home, edit your writings, re-evaluate, rehash, reminisce and self-reflect. You will probably even reconnect with someone you have not spoken to in a long time.




THINGS NOT TO DO DURING THIS TIME:

    While Mercury's energy is in reverse it is best not to CREATE or start anything new. It is also not a good time for job interviews, giving speeches, having surgeries (you may end up with the wrong procedure) or traveling.




  To sum this all up, Mercury in Retrograde can be a time of great magic and reflection or it can be three weeks of  chaotic madness. Through consciousness you will be able to stand on the outside and look at your environment while everyone else seems to be caught in the spin cycle.
